Botox® for pain:

Botox® has been used for over 20 years to treat a variety of medical conditions.  While it is approved for cervical dystonia and blepharospasm in Canada, it is approved for migraine treatment in the United States.  Botox® treatments can help reduce the intensity and the frequency of pain caused by muscle spasm such as TMJ, neck and back pain.

Botox® for treatment of excessive sweating:

Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition of excessive sweating that can affect daily life and can be a cause of stress and embarrassment. The most common areas affected are the underarms, hands and feet.  Botox® treatments improve the sweating for a period of 4-6 months, but can be longer in some patients.  Botox® is usually covered by most insurance plans.  One can check with their insurance company by providing the drug identification number 01981501 to see if their specific plan includes Botox®.
